ENGLISH STORIES

1º cuento:  We are going on a bear hunt!

We're going on a bear hunt.
We're going to catch a big one.
What a beautiful day!
We're not scared.
We can't go over it.
We can't go under it.
Oh no!
We've got to go through it!

2º RAP POEM:

Ya may think I'm happy, ya may think I'm sad,
Ya may think I'm crazy, Ya may think I'm mad,
But hang on to your seats and listen right here,
I'm gonna tell ya something that'll burn your ear
A hip, a hop, a hip hop hap,
I'm giving you all the Michael Rosen Rap
(Rap rap rap)
I was born on the 7th of May
I remember very well that awful day
I was in my mother, curled up tight,
Though I have to say it was dark as night!
Nothing to do, didn't wanna breathe,
I was so happy, didn't wanna leave!
Then I hear some people give a shout,
"One push, Mrs Rosen, and he'll be out!"
I'm telling you, that was a puzzle to me,
I shouted out, "How d'you know I'm a he?"
Doctor shouted, "Good lord, he can talk!"
I popped out my head, an' said, "Now watch me walk!"
I jooked and

3º STORY: THE LITTLE RED HEN.

Once upon a time there was a little red hen who lived on a farm.
Early one morning she woke up and went outside.
 There she found some corn.
“Who will help me plant the corn?” said the little red hen.
“Not I,” said the bull.
 “Not I,” said the cat.
 “Not I,” said the rat.
“Oh very well, I’ll do it myself,” said the little red hen – and so she did!

“Who will help me water the corn?”
said the little red hen. “Not I,” said the bull.
 “Not I,” said the cat.
 “Not I,” said the rat.
“Oh very well, I’ll do it myself,” said the little red hen – and so she did!

.........................

“Who will help me eat the bread?” said the little red hen. “I will,” said the bull. “I will,” said the cat. “I will,” said the rat. “Oh no you won’t. I’ll eat it myself,” said the little red hen – and so she did!

4. THE GINGERBREAD MAN

A little old man and a little old woman stayed in a cottage.
One day, the woman made a gingerbread man for dinner. She decorated the gingerbread man with eyes made of currants and buttons made of cherries. But when she took out gingerbread man from the oven, he jumped out and ran away.
The old woman and her husband ran after him but gingerbread man was too fast for them. Neither the pig, nor the cow, nor the horse who followed, could outrun gingerbread man. Now, the gingerbread man came to a river and didn’t know how to cross it. A sly fox came up to him and offered to help him to cross the river. He asked him to sit on his tail but gingerbread man began to get wet. Then the fox told him to sit on his back and finally on his nose.
No sooner did gingerbread man sit on the fox’s nose, that the sly fox tossed him and gobbled him up.

5. POEM: I'm a little tea pot.

I'm a little teapot
Short and stout
Here is my handle
Here is my spout
When I get all steamed up
Hear me shout
Tip me over and pour me out!

I'm a very special teapot
Yes, it's true
Here's an example of what I can do
I can turn my handle into a spout
Tip me over and pour me out!

SI conocen otro cuento que les guste y prefieren preparar ese, también son bienvenidos!! =)
